You can take advantage of custom t-shirts with no minimum order requirement using our digital printing method. Order a single custom printed t-shirt for yourself or everyone you know! You can browse our catalog to see products available for digital printing.

For screen printed and embroidered orders, there’s a 24 piece minimum due to the extensive setup times of these processes. For a full comparison of all three processes, head over to Comparing Decoration Methods.

The average custom screen printed or embroidered order ships in no more than 5 business days after the order is placed. Digitally printed orders take even less time – usually completed within 1-3 business days after the order is placed.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need your order by a specific date. We can almost always accommodate your deadline.

With digital printing, your design is printed directly from the computer to the shirt using large ink jet printers. This technique allows you to print tons of colors making it a perfect choice for full-color photographs. Plus, digital printing allows us to offer custom t-shirts with no minimum order requirement.

Screen printing is a more traditional t-shirt customization method in which each color in a design is separated and burned to individual fine-mesh screens. Ink is then transferred to the shirt through the screen. Teams, organizations, and businesses usually opt for screen printing because it’s more cost-effective for printing large custom apparel orders.

For more detailed information, head over to Our Custom Printing Processes page or Contact Us and our customer service team can help make the decision that’s best for you!

Every order begins with a thorough review by our customer service team to make sure that each detail of your order is inspected.

It’s then passed off to our art team where we inspect your designs and make automatic fixes like alignment, spelling mistakes, and even smooth out rough and pixelated uploaded images before setting up your design for the appropriate print method.

Once we’ve prepared your order to print, it then makes multiple stops through our production process where each t-shirt is inspected for accuracy and quality before landing at our final inspection prior to pickup.

Every order comes with a guaranteed delivery time and quality assurance. If you have any questions, be sure to contact us and check out our Satisfaction Guarantee for more info.

At Print Brokers, we process orders super fast — which means, unfortunately, that we can’t guarantee that changes can be made after you’ve submitted your order. To avoid issues, we recommend double-checking your order before you place it. Of course, if you do happen to make an error on your order, feel free to contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

The first component when calculating the price of your custom t-shirts is the product. Our catalog spans high-quality options like 100% cotton tees to fitted fashion tees.

Next is the print method. For digitally printed orders, pricing is determined by the number of print locations (front, back, both). Screen printed orders take into account the number of locations AND the number of colors per location (ex. 1-color front, 2-color back).

Last is quantity. Ordering more of the same design lets you take advantage of price breaks and pay less per shirt. With screen printed orders especially, you’ll see huge discounts as you add more shirts to your order.

We’re always ready to help you make a great custom t-shirt. If you need inspiration, we offer a huge variety of Design Templates to help you get started customizing.

If you have images you would like to upload but need some adjusting, feel free to include notes in the Design Notes section when saving out your t-shirt. For complex photos or images on screen printed orders you may want help creating simplified versions that will lower your color count and cost at the same time. Feel free to Contact Us and our service team would be happy to lend a hand.

We understand design mistakes can easily be overlooked. Our art department checks each and every order for the most common design errors (alignment, misspellings, etc.) and will adjust automatically when necessary. If you have specific instructions, feel free to leave them in the Design Notes section when you save your design. If you would rather get on the phone with one of our experts, you can Contact Us and we would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have!

Custom T-Shirts With No Minimum

Whether it’s a gift, something for yourself, or just a couple of friends, it can be hard to find a place to print just a few or even a single custom t-shirt. Most custom apparel options require a minimum order size because of the extensive preparation associated with typical printing options. Here at Print Brokers, we’ve been dedicated for the last 20 years to pushing back against these norms using modern technology to offer no minimum custom t-shirts.

So how do we offer custom printing with no minimum? Introducing: Digital Printing.

With our digital printing method, we can take the design you’ve created and print it directly to your t-shirt through large, specially equipped printers. These printers use CMYK inks with digital print heads to create a huge range of colors and achieve extremely high levels of detail. This technology is crucial to shortening the setup process commonly involved in custom printing. With the fastest set up in garment printing, digital printing offers the quickest delivery and is the first time where offering custom t-shirts with no minimum has been possible.

For a more detailed look at digital printing, check out our Decoration Methods and see more about how we take your design straight from the computer to the shirt. If you’re not sure which printing method is right for your order, you can Screen Printing vs Digital to see the difference.

Custom Screen Printing & Embroidery

When your ordering custom apparel for a team, organization, business, or any other group, you can take advantage of some of the huge price breaks offered for higher quantity orders. And the best way to do this is with screen printing and embroidery.

Unlike digital printing, which has no minimum, custom screen printing and embroidery requires a 24 piece minimum per design. These two processes involve extensive preparation before even the first shirt is printed or stitched. The upside? Once we get going, each shirt is faster than the last, allowing us to pass on that savings in the form of quantity discounts that lower the cost of each individual t-shirt.

By providing three different decoration methods, you can select the option that perfectly fits your needs. Whether you’re looking for no minimum custom shirts for a one-of-a-kind gift, or outfitting your whole business with a new set of branded apparel, we back every custom t-shirt we make with outstanding customer service and a Money Back Guarantee that will leave you looking for another excuse to make your own shirts.

Choosing T-Shirt & Apparel Options By Quantity

Choosing the product that’s right for you begins with knowing how many you’ll want to order.

Start by looking in the catalog if you’re looking for just a few, or even a single custom shirt. These products can be digitally printed, offering full-color printing and our extremely fast production time -- less than 48 hours!

If you’re looking for 24 or more pieces, you can open up our entire catalog with screen printing and embroidery. This can be much more cost effective at higher quantities and is great for groups, teams, businesses, and organizations.

You can compare decoration methods to decide which is best for your order.

Narrow Your Search

Next, choose a shirt from the catalog. For the tried and true custom t-shirt, we’ve got shirts that come in a variety of colours and fit you right every time.

If you’re looking for womens t-shirts and apparel, browse through our baby tees which come in a variety of colours for that more feminine fit.

Kids t-shirts and polos, both regular and performance, are just a few other ways to look at our custom catalog to find what you’re looking for.

Get the best looking custom t-shirts at an affordable price.

When you’ve got to stay within your budget, we can help you get the best value without having to cut corners. With Free clip art and design templates, the best product selection and more, we’ve got plenty of ways to get cheap custom t-shirts without sacrificing quality. Below we’ve outlined some things to keep in mind to get the most out of your order.

Tips to get the most bang for your buck.

  • Design on white. We’ve got plenty of apparel options to choose from, especially in white. Production costs are lowered when you print your design on white apparel and this can go a long way to shaving off costs.
  • Use fewer colors. Is it a screen printed order? If so, reducing your color count will have a significant impact on lowering costs. Screen printed orders use the number of colors in a design to calculate the price. Lower the number of colors, and you’ll lower the cost. If you’re not sure how, or you need help simplifying an uploaded image, Contact Us and our art team can make sure your design looks great using minimal colors. If you need something changed, you can also make sure to leave notes on the design and our artists will be sure to address it and can even send you a digital proof before your order heads to production.
  • Stick to just one location. Each print location adds to the cost of the order. Combine elements to just one location and you can see a significant reduction in cost.

If you’d like some extra help getting the most of your order, don’t hesitate to contact us and our customer service team can walk you through the process, make recommendations, and ensure your custom t-shirts are exactly what you’re looking for.

Uploaded Image Requirements & Best Practices

When uploading your own images and artwork in the Design Studio, following a few best practices will make customizing easier and your t-shirts just that much better when you get them.

First, files can be uploaded in the following formats:

.gif, .png, .jpg, .bmp, .tif, .ai, .eps, .pdf, and .psd

Second, consider the resolution of the image you’re uploading. Below are explanations and recommendations for the two primary types of digital images — raster and vector.

Raster Images

We recommend 150 dpi or greater for the best printing results. Don’t know what we’re talking about? Let us explain.

Raster images, the more common of the two, are images that are made up of a grid of square pixels, that when viewed all together, look like a seamless image. Typical file types are .jpg, .png, .gif, .tif, .psd, and .bmp.

Raster images that have more pixels can print larger than images with fewer pixels. As you try to enlarge a raster image, the once small, unnoticeable pixels get larger and make the image look blocky or blurry. For this reason, it’s important that the image you upload has enough pixels to print at the size you’d like so that there is no loss in quality.

The number of pixels can either be expressed as the total number — like 1500 pixels wide x 1200 pixels tall — or as density, usually referred to as the image’s resolution. This number is given in dpi (dots-per-inch) and for our printing purposes, it’s best if your image is 150 dpi or greater to ensure the best results.

This means that if you'd like to print your uploaded image at 4” x 4” for a typical left chest placement, your image would only need to be 600 pixels x 450 pixels. If instead you’d like to print your image across the whole front at 12” x 18”, it’s best if it’s 1500 pixels x 1800 pixels. You can usually find this information by right clicking on the image file, selecting properties, and looking under details.

If your image doesn't quite meet this recommendation, you’re still free to use it and if there’s any concern about your design’s print quality we’ll be sure to contact you.

Vector Images

Be sure to outline text so any fonts print the way you’ve designed them.

For those that are unfamiliar, vector images are made up of crisp lines called paths and angles called anchors. Instead of the square pixels used in raster images, vector images use these paths to precisely outline each shape resulting in a smooth and never blurry image. Typical file types are: .ai, .eps, .pdf, and .cdr.

This means that vector images can also be enlarged indefinitely without ever compromising quality, so there are no concerns about resolution or dimensions like there are for raster images. However, these types of images are generally less common and customers often only use them if they’ve made them themselves or gotten them from a designer they’re working with.

Problems Uploading An Image?

If your image can’t be uploaded or doesn't display correctly in the Design Studio, send it over to artwork@print.bb and we’ll convert it to a format that we can use. And, as always, don’t hesitate to Contact Us; our customer service team would be glad to help you through the process.

Calculating Your Price

To get a price quote on a shirt, first go to the individual Product page and click Request Quote next to the Start Your Design button. Fill out the form with as much information as possible for us to give you an accurate quote.

Keep in mind that several factors determine your custom product's price including quantity, shirt color, number of ink colors, number of print locations, and decoration method.

Ordering Your Design

To order your custom design print, if it's via Digital Printing, use our Design Editor to setup your artwork in whichever location you want. It will automatically calculate the price for you and once your price appears simply click the Add To Cart button. If you have not already done so, you will be prompted to login or create an account.

You can save all your designs in the Editor for future reorders or edits you may want to do.

Screen Printing

Bulk/Group Orders, Specific Color Matching, Larger Variety of Products

Screen printing is probably what you think of when you think about t-shirt printing. It's the traditional t-shirt printing method in which each color in a design is separated out and burned to individual fine-mesh screens. Ink is then transferred to the shirt through the screen. Teams, organizations, and businesses usually opt for screen printing because it's extremely cost-effective for printing large custom apparel orders.

How does it work?

The first thing we do is separate out the colors in your logo or design using graphic software. A mesh stencil (screen) is then created for each color in the design (keep that in mind when ordering screen prints because each color adds to the cost). To create the stencil, we begin by coating the fine mesh screen with an emulsion. Once dried, we "burn" the artwork into the screen by exposing it to a bright light. We now have a screen for each color in the design which are then used as stencils for printing onto the product.

Now that we have our screens we need our ink. Similar to what you’d see in a paint store, ink is mixed for each color in the design. Screen printing allows for much more exact color matching than other print methods. Ink is placed on its appropriate screen and then we squeegee ink through the mesh screen onto the shirt. The colors are layered on top of one another to create the final design. The final step involves running your shirt through a large dryer to "cure" the ink and prevent it from washing out.

Why choose screen printing?

Screen printing is the perfect print method for large orders, unique products, prints requiring vibrant or specialty inks, or color matching specific Pantone values. Screen printing has fewer limitations as to what products and materials can be printed on. The fast run times can make it a very economical option for large orders. However, the labor intensive setup can make it expensive for small runs.

Digital Printing

Small Runs, Full Color Photos, Quick Turnaround

Digital printing involves printing a digital image directly onto the shirt or product. It is a newer technology that functions similar to your home inkjet printer. Special CMYK inks are mixed to create the colors in your design. of this, there is no limitation to the number of colors in your design. This makes digital printing a great option for printing photographs and other intricate artwork.

The cost per print is higher than traditional screen printing. However, by avoiding the high setup costs of screen printing, digital printing is much more cost effective for smaller orders (or even a single shirt).

How does it work?

The t-shirt is loaded into an oversized "inkjet" printer. A combination of white and CMYK inks are laid onto the shirt to create the design. Once the print has finished, the shirt is cured using heat to prevent the design from washing out.

Digital printing is perfect for smaller quantities, higher detail, and quick turnaround times.

Embroidery is the process of sewing a design or logo onto a product with thread. It is typically used to add logos or designs to polos, jackets, and hats.

How does it work?

Embroidery is an age-old process of weaving a design onto fabric using a thread and needle. Today, instead of someone actually sewing a design by hand, a digital file is created that tells a machine how and where to put each stitch. Embroidery works best with simple, low color count logos or artwork. Photographs and artwork with fine detail or small lettering usually can not be embroidered. We'll be sure to contact you if this is the case and recommend ways we can alter your design or suggest other alternatives.

After we receive your order and review your artwork, the first step in the process is to "digitize" your design. This just means we are creating a digital file that contains instructions on how to stitch your artwork. Once digitized, the file is send to the embroidery machine and the design will be sewn out onto the product. Embroidered logos generally use between 1,000 - 7,000 stitches to create your design. Very intricate indeed!

Digitizing your logo is a time consuming process so embroidery is more economical for larger orders.

With Digital Printing, your design is printed directly onto the garment using water-based CMYK inks. Like ink jet printers, this technique allows you to print millions of colors making it a perfect choice for full-color photographs. Plus, digital printing allows us to offer custom tees with no minimum order requirement, unlike screen printing, which has a 24-piece minimum because of its extensive prep time.

Screen printing is a more traditional t-shirt customization method in which each color in a design is separated and burned to individual fine-mesh screens. Ink is then transferred to the shirt through the screen. Teams, organizations and businesses usually opt for screen printing because it’s more cost-effective for printing large custom apparel orders.

Both printing methods guarantee excellent durability and wash-fastness over time.

When it comes to custom t-shirts and apparel, offering three different decoration methods provides the versatility to get exactly what you want.

The most common decision is to choose between screen and digital printing. The primary factor here will be the order quantity. Digital printing uses CMYK inks with advanced ink jet printing to create your design directly on the t-shirt. This means no minimums on digitally printed custom t-shirts, not to mention no limitations when it comes to color count or complexity. Screen printing, on the other hand, is the traditional t-shirt printing method where each color is separated and burned to individual fine-mesh screens before printing ink through the screens. You’ll need at least 24 pieces to have your order screen printed, and keep in mind that the number of colors in your design is used to calculate the screen printed price.

Check out the table below for a complete breakdown comparing all three decoration methods.

Ink is then forced through the mesh directly onto the fabric and is bonded using high temperatures.State-of-the-art technology where the image is printed onto the garment directly from a digital file. Unlike iron-on transfers, digital printing leaves a vibrant image with excellent durability and wash fastness.

When ordering a wide range of shirt sizes for a screen print order, customers sometimes run into the issue of the design not fitting on the smaller shirts.

There are a few different solutions to the sizing problem.

Option 1 - Create Two Different Sets of Screens
This options looks great because the design is scaled appropriately for each shirt size group. However, since each set of screens must be burned, set up, and run separately this is essentially equivalent to running two different orders. We will typically offer this options as long as there are at least 24 shirts for each set of screens (i.e., 24 youth and 24 adult).

Option 2 - Scale the Artwork Down
A more economical option is to simply re-size your artwork so that it can fit on the smallest size shirt in the order. The downside to this approach is that the design can look smaller than intended on the larger shirts. Typically, with this approach, the artwork will have to be contained in an 8" x 10" print area.

Option 3 - Increase the Shirt Sizes
The last option is to simply adjust the shirt sizes in the order. Generally, this just means eliminating any Youth Small and Youth Medium shirts from your order. Most kids are ok with their shirt being a little loose fitting anyways!
